Specializing in training teen drivers, Right Way Driving School’s primary focus is to provide our students with the fundamental, cognitive and physical skills they need to operate a vehicle in a responsible and safe manner.
Teen Courses
This is the required course for all 16-year-olds in NJ. NJ Law requires a State Certified & Licensed driving school to obtain the “GDL” Permit.
Road Test and Brushup
At the conclusion of our 6 hour program, we provide a validated permit and a certificate of completion for your insurance company.
Adult Lessons
If you are a currently license driver, (valid New Jersey or International driver’s license), you could still benefit from our NJ driving school.
Defensive Driving Lessons
Complete our NJ State Approved six Hour Defensive Driving Course to lower your insurance rates and take points off your license.
Dear Parents:
Thank you for choosing Right Way Driving School. The Right Way Behind-the Wheel program is for 16-yr. old students. This course provides six hours of training that the State of New Jersey requires.
The primary purpose of our Driver Education Program is to save lives and reduce motor vehicle accidents. Right Way will provide both education and supervised instruction in the fundamental skills of driving. At the completion of the six-hour program the student will acquire a learners permit and will be permitted to drive under the supervision of a New Jersey licensed driver, 21 years or older and licensed for at least 3 years. Driving hours are restricted to 5:01 am to 11:00 pm. They may only have passengers from a shared residence plus one additional person.
Right Way Driving School which was established in 2004 and is located in Cedar Grove, NJ and is owned and operated by Claudio Canonaco, a Physical Education/Driver Education teacher in the Wayne Township School District. I have been serving the Wayne area for over 20 years now. The New Jersey State Department of Education, NJDMV, and National Safety Council certifies me as a driving instructor. In addition to the above qualifications, I have been employed as a teacher and coach for over 35 years. All of our instructors are teachers and coaches and have been instructing students for many years. They have passed all required tests, training and background checks to become successful driving instructors and are all licensed by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC). We are all Drive Safer certified.
