The 6-hour course is open to any licensed driver in New Jersey, whether you want to lower your insurance rates, remove points from your record, or sharpen your skills behind the wheel.

Yes. Most NJ auto insurance carriers offer up to a 10% premium discount for 3 years after you complete a state-approved defensive driving course. You will receive a certificate of completion to send to your insurance company.
Is this an online or in-person course?
Right Way offers both options. The in-person course is taught by Eric Magrini at our Cedar Grove location. We also refer students to an approved online defensive driving course through SafeMotorist for those who prefer to complete it from home.
Can I use this course to remove points from my NJ driving record?
Yes. Completing the course allows you to remove up to 2 points from your NJ driving record. This option is available once every 5 years. The course also satisfies court-ordered requirements for the NJ Driver Improvement Program (DIP).
